Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Gwalior- 4500 Houses Sanctioned

With an aim to provide houses to all till 2022, the central government has now informed to build 4500 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. In the Phase-1 of PMAY- Urban location of affordable houses will be at Sagartaal and Mahargaun.

Sources informed authorities are working rapidly and efficiently to achieve the aim of Housing For All (HFA) 2022.

Moreover, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban has been initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the main target as LIG and EWS section of the society. Applicants who are interested and eligible for the central government affordable housing scheme can apply in online through official website at pmaymis.gov.in/

For Gwalior Urban Area under PMAY, a total of 89,000 houses has been provided under the plan. However, information revealed that PM Awas Yojana 69,000 online application form has been filled from the area.  Authorities also reported starting construction work soon.

Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana (PMGAY) Ujjain - Phase 2

In Phase 2 of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana (PMGAY) Ujjain, the central government has decided to build a total of 9880 affordable houses. PM Awas Yojna Phase 2 will start from April 2017 and continues till March 2019.

Mahidpur Tehsil has the maximum number of approved houses that is 2773. Under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana Ujjain, Phase 2 target mainly at people who have Kachaaa house or only have a single room for accommodation. To select such beneficiaries, meetings being held at villages in the district on Saturday. Such meeting will also be conducted on Monday and Sunday too.

In these meetings, announcement of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana Ujjain waiting list has been doing. In the case of objection, on-site inspection is completing after which disposal of forms is going on. Also during village meetings, eligible beneficiaries informed it being obvious that the bank pass, Aadhar Card number and a copy of the Job Card should be deposited in the respective district panchayat.

A person who does not have their name in census 2011, in future he/ she will be supplemented by a separate survey. In PM Awas Yojna Phase 1, 4085 houses beneficiary has been approved in the district informed by CEO in-charge of the Zilla Panchayat SS Rawat. Authorities said it will take care that every needy beneficiary will get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana (PMGAY) Ujjain.
