Pregnant women belong to semi-urban, poor and rural areas given more preference in comparison to one who belongs to the urban area under the Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan.

- Pregnant women can only apply.
- 9th of every month free check up day.
- For any treatment or check up, for pregnancy is free.
- Tests will take place at the medical centers, government and private hospitals and private clinics across the country.
- Under the plan, Mother & Child Protection card offered to beneficiaries.
- Women will be marked differently based on their health problems so that doctors can easily detect the problem.
