Under Anundoram Borooah Scheme 2016, the Assam State Government has announced to provide free laptops for students. In Anundoram Borooah Scheme 2016, the free laptops are given to students who scored well in HSLC exams.

According to the Assam Govt. the students who get division in HSLC exam are eligible for free laptop scheme 2016-17. Also, Madrassa board and Sanskriti Board students are too eligible to get benefits of the Govt. Scheme.

Under Anundoram Borooah Scheme 2016, students can take cash rewards against free laptop as depending on his/her choice. The amount given is equal to the cost of the laptops given under the scheme.
