Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Roorkee
Online Registration of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Roorkee will start from 2 January 2017 in Uttarakhand. Under PMAY Roorkee, the central government will offer houses to poor people of the district.
The online filling of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Roorkee done through CSC (Common Service Centers). For providing houses under the scheme, the central government has started to identify the beneficiaries. According to news from the officials, a survey of the beneficiaries will be done from 2nd January to 8th January across all wards of the district.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Roorkee is started for Below Poverty Line (BPL), Low Income Group (LIG) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) people of the district.

Earlier, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana with main objective to provide houses to poor people across the country. Under this housing scheme, the govt. aimed to provide houses to all people till 2022 and for this central government has selected 2508 cities under PM Awas Yojana (PMAY).
Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Uttarakhand, the people whose income is between 3 Lakh and 6 Lakh per annum will get the loan of Rs. 6 Lakh from govt.
