Rain well Water Supply Scheme For Sohana Block Villages

Soon salt water problem will be going to solve in 23 villages of Sohana block. For this Public Health Care Department has sent the estimate to the government and a fund of 32 crore has been going to spend over the scheme.  Rain well Water Supply Scheme Yojana has been started by the government to get rid off from the problem.

For making the project success a total cost of Rs. 32 crore has been approved of which 20% will be from Central Government and rest 80% will be provided from the State government. Under the scheme, iron pipes going to laid for 14 km to supply quality water to villages. Boosting Station will set up in Daula village by the department to supply water from Ghangola to 23 villages through pipelines under Rain well Water Supply Scheme Yojana.

People of these 23 villages were suffering from the saltwater problem from several years including Ghagola, Nunera, Nurpur, Kulika and others. Apart from these people of 9 villages including Bhai Khera, Bhogpur, Bedhwaka, Bilaka, Chamanpur, Dhunela, Hazipur, Loh Singhani, and Sancholi is total suffering from the saltwater problem. People of the villages have been shifting to other villages due to the problem.

Local Public Health Department has sent Rain well Water Supply Scheme Yojana report to the government. The government has sent the estimate to the local authorities and soon the work will start.
