The project has been started under the pilot project. Houses constructed DUSIB Address will be at the location including Lajpat Nagar, Bhalswa, Dev nagar, Mangolpuri and Ambedkar Nagar where the 14-story building will be constructed at the cost of Rs. 866 crore.
Delhi EWS Housing Scheme for Slum Dwellers
- For slum dwellers, the government will build multi-story building at six venues in the project.
- Confluence Park has started the project of 582 EWS houses.
- 6178 EWS flats are about to start work on three points.
- 414 houses 18 floors and 168 apartments will be built for the 12-story building.
- All these buildings will cost around Rs 83 crore.
DUSIB Moving & Relocation: -
In the 18th meeting of Urban Shelter Improvement Board, the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the slum rehabilitation and resettlement policy of 2015 of Deputy Governor have agreed. At the board meeting, it has been decided if land owner circle rates for land rather than the government may charge the official rates. If shanties are located around railway, DDA, L & DO, Delhi, NDMC and other central agencies, owners are requested to attempt transfer and resettlement on itself. If not then DUSIB will work on that.
Delhi Rain Basera Improvement
To improve facilities in Delhi Rain Basera and keep eyes on progress a committee has been made that will be headed by former Justice Kailash Gambhir. To make the Night Shelter project a success government has decided to spent a total of 5 crore for puchasing furnishing including five thousand bunker beds, 10 thousand mattresses, sheets, blankets, pillow, LED, TV, and other services will be provided cooler.
