Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivha/Nikaha Yojana in Madhaya Pradesh

Shivraj Singh Chouhan chief minister of Madhya Pradesh launched the “Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivha/Nikah Yojana”. This scheme is indirectly related to the guardian who is helpless and cannot afford the expenses of girl child’s marriage. To help such type of people the government will provide some financial assistance to the people.

Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivha/Nikah Yojana scheme is both for Hindu and Muslim girls. All the marriage will under in the nearest Municipal Commissioner.

Programme setup under Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivha/Nikaha Yojana:-

In February 2017	On 11, 13, 23 & 28
In March 2017	1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 & 13
In April 2017	16, 17, 18, 23, 29 & 30

 

The Madhya Pradesh government will provide financial assistance of Rs. 17,000/- through Cheque, Rs. 5,000/- through E-Payment for material used in wedding & Rs. 3,000/- for the cost of marriage ceremony. The interested parents can apply or contact to the nearest Municipal Commissioner, Municipality, Nagar Panchayat, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat & District Panchayat Officers of their area to get benefits of this scheme.
