Rajiv Awas Yojana is merged now into Housing for All scheme 2022. The Rajiv Awas Yojana beneficiaries will now eligible for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. People who have the annual income less then Rs. 3.0 lakh will get the affordable house at Rs. 2.0 lakh.
1200 houses build in Bagraj Ward are going to be allotted under the same scheme. Flats available here have a minimal cost of Rs. 12.0 lakh that will be given in 2.0 lakh.

Slum Dweller will have to allotted houses under Rajiv Awas Yojana, but beneficiaries need to leave the old place to get the benefit. Now when the scheme is merged under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the beneficiaries will get the benefit of the housing scheme on the same spot.
Mr Anuraj Saini Plan Consultant has said the scheme is applicable only at place where displacement is necessary. On other location the scheme is not applicable. Also under the scheme people living on near to Railway Line, Green Belts, the historical heritage, the Master Plan Road and adjacent to the pond are also not eligible for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at Rs. 2.0 lakh.
Pilot Project Mergered
Rajiv Pilot Project Located near to City Juvenile Court will be converted into PM Awas Yojana for 540 houses on the site at the cost of Rs 35 crore has been made.
The Decision of Merging Rajiv Awas Yojana into Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Sagar has been taken on the government level. Now by allocation beneficiaries will get houses under the Housing for All Scheme.
