Mukhyamantri Balika Cycle Yojana Bihar - Complete Distribution in February

Started three years back, Mukhyamantri Balak and Balika Cycle Yojana has benefited huge number of schoolgirls. Now the state government has announced to distribute complete uniforms and bicycle to schoolchildren in the month of February. Earlier the Cycle Vitran Yojana started in the state to maintain the literacy rate as Bihar have just 39% literacy rate and stats also show that most of the schoolgirls dropout due to high cost of private institution and low level of Government schools.

Bihar Mukhyamantri Balika Cycle Yojana

So bring the literacy rate on track, the scheme was introduced under which school girl going from 9 to 10 will get a bicycle from the school authorities. While Bihar is not the first to start such initiate, the project was taken and implement from Tamil Nadu Cycle Scheme and in the state it named as Mukhyamantri Balika Cycle Yojana.

The school children Yojana is also listed among the scheme that not only announced but also gets implemented with a great impact to change the stats of cause. Now the number of girls who left school at age of 12 also gets decreased to a great extent in the state.

Bihar Free Uniform Yojana

In the month of February the government will also completely distribute free of cost uniform to school schoolchildren of class 1st to 8th class. According to the reports, the government authority’s official announced that a total cost of around Rs 12,068 crore will be spend for providing free uniform and cycle to schoolchildren in Bihar. The eligibility criterion will receive the cash component for school uniforms and bicycles are 75% and more school attendance by a student.

Along with Free Cycle Yojana in Bihar other schemes are also implemented to provide necessary primary education to all the children of age 6 to 14 years.
