Jharkhand Free Mobile Phone Scheme for Women entrepreneurs

Women are almost half of India’s Population and should have equal rights as that man. And for the empowerment of women many schemes and yojanas are running in the country. In the same path, Jharkhand State Government announced Free Mobile Phone Scheme for Women entrepreneurs in the state. As we all know a Smartphone can help a person in many area. This project is considered as part of Digital India campaign that was started earlier after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced ban of old 1000 and 500 Notes.

Under the Jharkhand Free Mobile Scheme around 1 lakh business women are targeted to provide smartphone. With this CM Raghubar Das aiming to make the state totally digitally soon.

For fast and better empowerment rate of women other two scheme offering financial assistance named as Tejaswini scheme and Johar Scheme has been launched. For  Tejaswini Yojana an amount of Rs. 600 crore and Rs. 14,00 for Johar Scheme announced in Jharkhand Budget 2017-18.

While announcing Free Mobile Scheme for Women Entrepreneurs, CM of Jharkhand said women are the main strength of state economy. He also said without digital knowledge providing to women, Cashless Jharkhand Campaign cannot be a success.

The state government reported soon distribution will begin under Free Mobile Phone Scheme to 1 lakh entrepreneurs in the state.
