Karnataka Free Laptop Scheme 2017-18 For College Students

New Free Laptop Scheme  2017-18 in Karnataka students has been declared by the state government. Under the plan students who are passing senior secondary in the current fiscal year and taking admission for higher study in college are eligible for it. While free laptop for students in Karnataka will be given for whom get admission in government college are benefited under the scheme.

This is not the first time, for Karnataka Government offering free laptops to students. Such type of yojanas has also be run by the government in the early year. Moreover, this time Budget for the free Laptop scheme has been reduced in comparison to last year.

Any of the student looking to pursue higher education from Medical Colleges, Engineering college, Degree college and other bachelor courses can apply for the Karnataka Free Laptop Scheme. The advantage of the scholarship scheme will be given to students belong to EWS (Economical Weaker Section) of society. This year a total of 1.5 lakh students will get benefited from it.
