CHB PM Awas Yojana: Administration ready Land of 10 thousand flats

Finally, admisitraion has now ready to give land to Chandigarh Housing Board for the construction of affordable house under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. By the end of this week, 50 acres of land will be given to CHB for PMAY- Urban flats. After this, the CHB will launch the scheme by deciding the number of different categories of houses.

Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Chandigarh, Flats will be constructed in a six-storey building in the southern sector.  At the same time, about 45 thousand applications have been received for the EWS, LIG, MIG-1 and 2 category flats under the demand survey application of PM Awas Yojana.

Apply till 20^th April 2017

It is known that at present 36 thousand people have applied online for PMAY Demand Survey for EWS, LIG, MIG-1 and 2 category flats. The CHB is getting a very good response. However, more than 6000 people have applied manually in the CHB office. Also, the last date to submit application form is set as 20^th April 2017.

CHB Online Application form PMAY are completely free, while the cost of the application form is Rs 10. After a lot of fierce fighting in the CHB office to fill the form for the first three days, the administration has now started taking application forms on E-Sampark Centers and kiosks.
