Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Roorkee Form in Municipal Corporation

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Roorkee Form will now be filled in the municipal corporation too. Apart from this, from ward number 1 to 6 work is being done to complete the survey and form from April 8. Nearly 100 forms are being filled up daily under PM Awas Yojana and Demand Survey. There is hope for it to grow further.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the government's goal is to provide roof to everyone by 2022. For this purpose the beneficiaries are being selected through local bodies. In the Roorkee Nagar area, on January 2, 2017, the work of completing survey and PMAY form was started, but on 4th January it got a break due to the code of conduct.

Now the corporation has issued the schedule again. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Form will be filled for wards 1 to 6 from 8^th April in Roorkee. A two-member team has been set up in each ward by the outsourcing company Devishi Educational Society. The work to complete survey and form will continue until May 12.

City Mission Manager Varun Malhotra said that the interested can fill the form directly in the municipal corporation too. Employees have been deployed for this. He said that under the Housing For All Scheme, applicants having annual income of up to 3 lakh will get loan from 1.25 lakh to 1.50 lakh, while those having annual income from 3 to 6 lakh will get a bank loan of up to Rs. 6 lakh with 2.25 lakh up to Rs.1.5 lakh exemption under under the Credit Link Subsidy Scheme. The loan payment deadline is set to 15 years.
