New Smart Ration Card in Uttar Pradesh by Yogi Adityanath

Yogi Adityanath has announced to new Ration Card in Uttar Pradesh. Yogi Government has declared digitization of 3.40 crore ration card that has photograph U.P CM Akhilesh Yadav. The new rashan card will be announced to made on the principal of Aadhar card.

Benefits of Digital Ration Card Scheme

• The new smart ration card will be directly linked with Aadhar Card and also with the bar code.


• It will be made with a digital microchip.


• Old ration card that will consist Akhilesh Yadav Photo and logo of the Samajwadi party will get rejected by Yogi Adityanath Sarkar.


• Till the manufacture of new digital ration card in Uttar Pradesh, use of rashan card will be done on slip basis issued by the government.


• A total of 3.4 crore ration card will get rejected, out of which 2.80 crores are already issued and 60 lakh available in government offices will get scrapped.

Also, Yogi Adityanath also announced to remove the Samajwadi tag from 18 schemes currently running in Uttar Pradesh. Check Full List of Schemes that may loose Samajwadi Tag here.

Yogi Adityanath declared that new smart ration card for Uttar Pradesh will be made available to all citizens as soon as possible. Also, slips will be issued by the government that will use in place of ration card.
