Ishan Uday Scholarship Result 2016-17

Result the scholarship scheme is going to displayed in the last week of April 2017 on University Grants Commission (UGC) official web portal. Under this scheme, 10,000 students from North Eastern Region were awarded, while in case the number of students exceeds the limit. Selection of eligible candidates was made on the basis of marks in 12^th Class. If the student selected in the UGC Scholarship Scheme then he/she have to submit required document to the nearest branch of Canara Bank.

Ishan Uday Result 2017 for students in the first year studying in general degree colleges, technical colleges were earlier expected to announce on 1^st of February 2017. For checking the tentative result of 2016-2017 students need to visit the link http://www.ugc.ac.in/ner/result_new.aspx. Ishan Uday Scholarship Result will be also declared in pdf format that will get uploaded below after the announcement of result from UGC.

Documents Required at Canara Bank for Ishan Uday Scheme

• Annexure 1 for fresher students of scholarship


• Annexure 2 required in case of renewal


• Domicile of the residential address


• Income certificate of the family


• Annexure 3 Certificate


• Annexure 4 an affidavit showing that the applied student is not taking benefit of any other government scholarship certificate.

• Open the link http://www.ugc.ac.in/ner/result_new.aspx


• Enter Registration ID, Date of Birth, and Email ID.


• Select the year of scholarship as 2016-17


• Enter the text in the below


• Click on “Show Result”


• Now you can check the UGC Ishan Uday Scholarship Result

NOTE: If you not able to find your name in the list that means you are eligible for the scheme. While in case you think you are eligible then you should contact with monika.ugc@nic.in with all proper details including, Student Name, Father Name, State, Pass Percentage and Candidate ID.
