New Gramin Awas Yojana Approved by PM Narendra Modi

Keeping the promise of “Ache Din”, PM Narendra Modi has approved a new Gramin Awas Yojana on 24^th January 2017 just before republic day. Under the scheme, people of rural India who do not have Pakka Makan or house need renovation will get financial help from the government.

Note that this new rural housing scheme will not covered in the ongoing Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

The Subsidiary of Reserve Bank, National Housing Bank will implement the upcoming rural housing scheme. Under the project, the poor or needy people who take a loan of 2 lakh from the bank will get the subsidy of 3 percent.

Modi government's new Gramin Awas Yojana will not applicable for those who have already taken the benefits of PM Awas Yojana- Gramin.

"The government's priority is to ensure help and protection for the honest," PM Modi said. While the launch date and of the upcoming rural housing scheme has not been cleared.
