DDA Plans to Construct 16000 in Delhi Region

Delhi Development authority has planning to construct 16000 houses in multiple locations of the national Capital Region. With this DDA Housing Scheme, the authorities aim to fulfill the demand of housing in Delhi.

According to the information, a total of 16,584 houses will get constructed across the national capital region. Out of the total, 6,000 houses will be for High Income Group (HIG) category, 5,000 for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category. While the remaining 5000 houses will get allotted to Middle Income Group (MIG) and LIG (Low Income Group) categories.

DDA Flats 2016-2017 will be provided at multiple locations of Delhi including Dwarka, Rohini, Mandawali, Phazulpur, Vasant Kunj, Preet Vihar, and Khichdipur. Also, DDA is looking to waive off the five-year lock-in period imposed on the ownership of the flats in order to attract more bidders.

Registration amount for the new DDA Flats 2017 will get increased from Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 3 lakh for LIG and Rs. 5 lakh for MIG houses.

Earlier in DDA Housing Scheme 2014, DDA has offered a total of 25000 flats to allottees, out of which 13000 flat get surrendered by the successful allottees. And the reports come that these surrendered houses will be added to upcoming DDA Housing Scheme 2016-17, announced in November 2016.

The project is still in the planning no deadline has been fixed by the authorities for the implementation of the project.
