Out of 390 vacancies, 335 (208 for Army, 55 for Navy and 72 for Air Force) are offered by NDA, while 55 Vacancies are being offered by INA for 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme. Candidates are only allowed to apply online for filling NDA 1 Examination form 2017.
Union Public Service Commission is going to conduct NDA 1 2017 Exam on 23rd April 2017 that may be changed at the discretion of the Commission. This time NDA 1 Exam is going to be conducted for admission in Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 139th Course, and for the 101st Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd January 2018.
Eligibility of NDA 1 2017 Examination
- Candidates born whose date of birth is between 02nd July, 1998 and 1st July, 2001 are eligible.
- Candidate should be unmarried.
- For Army Wing of NDA: 12th Pass candidates of 10+2th pattern are eligible of recognized school/ board.
- For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA: 12th Pass candidates with Physics and Mathematics subject of 10+2th pattern are eligible of recognized school/ board.
- 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the (INA) Indian Naval Academy: 12th Pass candidates with Physics and Mathematics subject of 10+2th pattern are eligible of recognized school/ board.
- Candidates who are appearing in 12th of 10+2 pattern are also eligible to apply for NDA 1 2017 Examination.
NDA 1 2017 Examination Center options
NDA 1 Center will be selected from Jammu, Jorhat, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Shimla, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Udaipur and Vishakhapatnam, Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Allahabad, Bengaluru, Bareilly, Bhopal, Nagpur, Panaji (Goa), Patna, Port Blair, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Shillong, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dharwad, Dispur, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur.
Note: There is a limit of candidates apply for each center except for Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai.
How to Apply
NDA 1 2017 Application Form can be only filled by online mode at upsc.gov.in. Candidates do not have an option of applying offline NDA 1 Examination this time.
Steps to fill NDA 1 2017 Examination online
- Open UPSC Official website at upsc.gov.in
- Select “National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I), 2017” on notification slider.
- Then a new screen will get open as shown below. Select “Clink Here” links are shown in the screenshot below.
- A new window opens now first fill NDA Part 1 by clicking “Click Here for PART I” as shown below in screen.
- After the completing details and submit NDA Part 1. Filling NDA Part 2 Application Below.
