Pune Municipal Corporation Launches Schemes for Disability Person

Pune municipal corporation announce welfare schemes for disability people living in area of pune.To standup with normal people PMC will give financial help to the people and student who are physically disable as well as jobless or student.

There are many schemes launched by the pune municipal corporation to self help out by the financial assistance or devices given by the Maharashtra government these are:

• Financial Assistance for Prosthetic Device to disabled


• Financial Assistance for Higher Education


• Financial Assistance for Vocational Training


• Financial assistance for self-employment to Disabled


• Free Bus pass Scheme

Under financial Assistance for Prosthetic Device to disabled scheme wheelchair or tricycle like devices given to the physical disable people worth rs 20,000.

The physical disable can get benefit of rs 10000 during the period of higher education on passing marks by the PMC Under Financial Assistance for Higher Education scheme

Under Financial Assistance for Vocational Training the beneficiaries can get rs 10,000 who completed their Vocational Training by the government certified institute.

financial assisatce of Rs. 5000 is given to disable individuals of age group 18-40 years under the scheme of  Financial assistance for self-employment to Disabled.
